Our new partner OverDrive is the leading digital reading platform for libraries and educational institutions worldwide, and are the creators of the popular apps Libby and Kanopy.
Libby is a simple-to-use reading app with a vast catalogue of books, audiobooks and magazines available at the touch of a screen, with welcoming and gentle branding that creates an enjoyable reading experience.
You can curate bespoke reading lists, be that an assortment of recipe and reference books to help build vital skills for living away from home, or a collection of feel-good fiction to bolster student wellbeing. Reading fiction can also be a great way to help international students build their English language skills – and the wide range of audiobooks is also invaluable for students to listen on the go, and for those with visual impairments.
Kanopy is a film and tv streaming app, that students can use to access free entertainment, wherever they are. You can also use it to set up cinema style screenings and events on your campus.
