We are pleased to welcome Clare Forster as our new Conference Chair, joining the Executive Board.
Clare is Head of Conferences at the University of Salford and brings wide-ranging experience across conferences, events and hospitality. She also serves as a Director on the Board of Academic Venue Solutions and is an active member of the higher education professional community. With experience spanning both the commercial and university sectors, Clare brings a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing conference and events professionals today.
In her role as Conference Chair, Clare will help guide the strategic development of the conference programme, supporting its continued relevance and value for members.
Clare succeeds Phil Scott, and we would like to thank him for his significant contribution to the Board and to the conference portfolio. Phil brought extensive leadership experience from across hospitality, higher education and the commercial sector, and his commitment and insight have played an important role in shaping our conference offer. We are grateful for his dedication and wish him every success in the future.
