At each Book Club meeting we look at a business, EDI or personal development book suggested by a member, using it as a way to take a deep dive into the issues that affect our roles. It's an exciting and fun way to develop our skills and start fantastic discussions on topics that impact the higher education sector. By sharing thoughts and experience, and challenging existing views, we can all get better at what we do. And it's free!
Choosing the books
When it comes to the reading list, CUBO Book Club members have the opportunity to suggest what will be read and discussed. All suggestions are welcome.
How often and where does the CUBO Book Club meet?
CUBO Book Club members meet about once every 12 weeks (once a term). Meetings are online through MS Teams during lunch time - about an hour of thought-provoking discussion led by Melissa Browne, CUBO Learning and Development Lead.
