Early March saw a fantastic face to face meeting of CUBO’s Scotland Group in the stunning St Salvator’s Quadrangle at the University of St Andrews.
Born out of the pandemic and the challenges it presented, the Scottish group continues to go from strength to strength.
A tour of the university included the amazing Saints Sports facilities, the Younger Hall, the university shop and some of the residence sites, and we are also grateful to The Student Marketing Company for sponsoring the event and for sharing the work they’re doing.
In the afternoon, Caroline Young shared information about the new One Elmwood student building at Queen’s Belfast and there were productive discussions about the Scottish deposit return scheme and the impact of the incoming Protect Duty, known as Martyn’s Law, on campus & commercial services.
