The CUBO Executive Committee sets association strategy and oversees its operational and financial management. It is supported by a team of two full-time and two part-time employees. Each Committee member has a specific portfolio and plays an active role in the development and implementation of strategy in their area. The current vacancies are:

Membership Lead - The Membership Lead will take forward the 2022-25 membership strategy to enhance and diversify the CUBO network. CUBO has over 1000 individual members working across various campus services in 118 universities and colleges in the UK and Ireland. We want all relevant staff at member institutions to know about, engage with and benefit from CUBO’s special and regional group events, learning and development, round table discussions, online resources, discussion forums, conferences and best practice awards.

Sustainability Lead - CUBO’s mission is to lead and promote excellence in the development of campus life, services and the student experience. The Sustainability Lead will develop a three-year strategy for CUBO with a focus in 2023 on engaging with other sector organisations and developing guidance and best practice in sustainability around the environmental impact of HE commercial activity.

EDI Lead - Achieving equality, diversity and inclusion is fundamental to the success of CUBO and our members. As an organisation, we aim to lead by example, to share EDI best practice to reduce inequalities in outcomes for individuals, and constructively support our all members in all forums. We have a vision of EDI transformation in the commercial and campus services sector, creating an inspiring culture where everyone thrives. A key task of the EDI Lead in 2023 is to develop our a CUBO Equality Diversity and Inclusion strategy, building on work started in 2022.
