We’re pleased to announce the introduction of automatic iCal invites for all our online events, effective from 1st March. This new feature aims to streamline the booking process and enhance members’ experience by providing an efficient way to add events to their calendars.
When booking an online event, members will receive a booking confirmation email containing an iCal (.ics) file. By opening this file, members can easily add the event to their calendars. Both the confirmation email and the calendar event will include the Microsoft Teams link required to join the meeting.
This update replaces the manual distribution of Teams invites previously managed by the CUBO team. Members are encouraged to ensure that they open the iCal attachment and add the event to their calendars to avoid a delay in joining scheduled events.
