Registration is now open for the 2026 CUBO Residence Life Conference, dedicated to the development of accommodation and residence life professionals working in universities, colleges and purpose-built student accommodation.
The event will take place at Loughborough University, from 13 - 14 May 2026.
This annual conference offers a unique opportunity to explore best practice, share sector insights, and develop professional skills alongside colleagues from across the UK and beyond. Following excellent feedback from the 2025 conference, the 2026 programme once again features thematic pathways, enabling delegates to tailor their experience and choose the workshops that best support their development goals.
The programme will explore several key areas shaping the future of residence life, including restorative justice and conflict resolution, preparing for Gen Alpha, and ResLife career development.

A highlight of the conference will be the CUBO Residence Life Star Awards, on the evening of 13 May. The awards shine a spotlight on outstanding contributions and achievements across residence life.
The conference welcomes accommodation and residence life staff from all universities, colleges and private purpose-built student accommodation providers. Special discounted rates are available for CUBO members and partners.
