We know that budgets are tight and, for some of our members, travel for professional development may not always be possible—but did you know your CUBO membership offers a wealth of free, online events you can access without leaving your university?
From quarterly online interest groups to expert-led round table events, there are plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and share best practices from wherever you are.
These sessions, hosted via Microsoft Teams, are designed to help you build a supportive professional network, access valuable data and insights, and stay ahead in the sector—all at no additional cost.
Interest groups are available for a range of campus and commercial service areas including Residence Life, Conferencing and Events, Marketing and Communications, Contract Catering, Sustainability, Sport and more. You can also link up with peers working at universities in your region to discuss issues and share insights that are specific to your area in our online CUBO regional groups.
Make sure that you and your colleagues make the most of your institution’s membership and take advantage of these events, as well as the discussion forums and resource bank on the website.
