CUBO Winter Conference 2026, taking place on
25-26 November at the
Jubilee Conference Centre, University of Nottingham.Many of the challenges facing commercial and campus service leaders are shared across the sector. Built around this year's theme,
Shared Challenges, Shared Solutions, the conference recognises the value of bringing colleagues together to exchange ideas, discuss common issues and learn from each other's experiences through a programme of keynote speakers, panel discussions and facilitated conversations.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: an open, honest and interactive discussion session where delegates will share recent successes, challenges and lessons learned from across their institutions. A chance to hear what's really happening on the ground, the wins worth celebrating, the problems worth solving and the issues no one else is talking about.
Minds in Motion: Understanding ADHD in Professional Life: Ben Branson will share personal insight into living and working with ADHD, exploring neurodiversity in the workplace and offering practical understanding for leaders managing diverse teams.
Beyond Nice: Leading with Compassion When It Really Matters: Steve Hargreaves explores what compassionate leadership really means in today's workplace. From navigating difficult conversations and managing conflict to building positive team cultures, this practical session offers actionable approaches for leading with clarity, honesty and compassion.
Alongside the conference programme, attendees will have plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the sector, engage with partners supporting higher education and continue conversations through dedicated networking opportunities and the conference dinner.
