It covers purpose-built student accommodation; catering, retail & hospitality; conferencing, guest accommodation and hotels; sport; soft facilities management, security and residence life.
The benefits for the participating universities are significant. They gain access the full anonymised data via a personalised dashboard, allowing them to benchmark their performance in different campus services against the wider sector, and to filter further by e.g. university mission group, region or turnover. They are also invited to an exclusive presentation and analysis of the report findings.
Later in the year, CUBO publishes a summarised report.
The survey is conducted in partnership with consultants The Russell Partnership Collection, who manage the data collection and analysis.
The 2023-4 survey opened on January 4th and will close on Friday February 2nd. It is open to universities that are members of CUBO.
